Designer Shingles have the longest lifespan usually lasting 30 to 50 years depending again on the geographical region. Designer or Specialty Shingles are attractive to many homeowners because of their enhanced performance, impact resistance, and solar reflectivity. Although they are higher than the other shingles, it is a great investment up front saving you energy costs and a 50 year lifetime of knowing your protected.
