Two years ago we went to the same home and did another repair in a different location of the home. The home has a beautiful concrete Spanish tile on it and unfortunately whoever installed it used a lack of better word “cheap” underlayment
This time squirrels got in and were digging through the felt which was causing the roof to leak.
